Everything matters to us.

From the teas we source and the real fruit, herbs and spices we use, all the way down to the water we brew with, every choice is intentional. We’re willing to spend more on better ingredients and take more time with our process because the final product has to be something we believe in.

Our standard is simple: if we wouldn’t be proud to drink it, serve it or put our name on it, we won’t sell it. It has to taste good. It has to make sense. And above all, it has to feel like Cru before it ever leaves our hands.

We’ve never built Cru around what everyone else is doing. Over the years, we’ve watched flavor combinations, ideas and approaches that began with us find their way across Utah. We take that as a compliment. But what makes Cru difficult to recreate has never been one ingredient or one recipe.

It’s the standard behind all of it.

We stay small enough to obsess over the details, experiment without compromise and keep raising our own bar. We know where our tea comes from. We care about the fruit, herbs and spices that go into every batch. We care about the water. We care about the process. And we care about what the finished glass tastes like.

That attention to detail has been part of Cru from the beginning.

Trends can be followed. Flavors can be imitated. But what we’ve built comes from years of knowing exactly what we want Cru to be and refusing to lower the standard just to make things easier, faster or cheaper.

We’d rather set the standard than follow it.
